Thinking Pink: Spa Events Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It’s that time of year again to think pink. Before the ghouls and goblins of Halloween come out to play, you can do your part in supporting National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by taking part in a purely pink event near you. Throughout October, for every purchase of a regular price 50-minute Pink Facial, Wellness Massage or Meditation CalmQuest with the Vaughn Center, Agave Spa will donate 10% of the purchase price to the Phoenix Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Agave is also offering a special Power in Pink fitness promotion. Who needs happy hour when you’ve got pink hour? Throughout October, pink hours will be from 11 am to 2 pm and 5 to 7 pm Sunday through Thursday. When you book a  massage, facial, scrub or wrap during pink hours, 10% of treatment price will benefit the Arizona Institute for Breast Health. Head to Mood Swings during October and make a fun and funky statement in support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The salon is offering hot or light pink single strand extensions for $10, which will be entirely donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
