If you’ve vowed to make massage a regular habit, here’s a chance to make it happen for a great cause. Through August 31st, all 26 Massage Envy around the Valley have partnered with Phoenix Children’s Hospital to raise funds for this visionary medical center. A portion of the proceeds for every six or 12-month membership will be donated to the Cardiology Department at Phoenix Children’s Hospital to help provide hope, healing and the best health medical care for children in Arizona and beyond.
Since July 2009, Massage Envy has donated more than $10,000 to Phoenix Children’s Hospital in conjunction with KMLE 107.9 Commitment to Kids campaign.
Also in the spirit of giving back, the local Phoenix group of franchisees, in conjunction with more than 600 Massage Envy locations nationwide, participate in Massage for the Cure, an annual event that donated more than $1 million for Susan G. Komen for the Cure over the past five years. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. All proceeds from massages that day will be used for breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in the greater Phoenix area.
