Summer Spaaah Series 2012: Arizona’s premier summer spa events are back!

Your resident spaaah experts are at it once again! As temperatures rise across Arizona, you can ditch those winter coats and slip in to plush spa robes with the return of the award-winning, soul-soothing Summer Spaaah Series. Bridging the divide between luxury and affordability, we are packing your summer with value and cooling relaxation through our annual summer events and you won’t want to miss out! We’re pulling out all the stops with seven of Arizona’s top spas and we are taking the event on the road to Sedona and for the first time ever, Tucson!

Now in our seventh consecutive year, the Summer Spaaah Series offers a line-up of seven resort spa events. A percentage of each ticket sold and a portion of sponsorship dollars go directly to Fresh Start Women’s Foundation. Fresh Start is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women through the services of the Jewell McFarland Lewis-Fresh Start Women’s Resource Center in Phoenix.

2012 dates and destinations include:

• May 18: Joya Spa at Montelucia Resort, Paradise Valley
• June 1: Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa at Westin La Paloma, Tucson
• June 15: Spa Avania at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort at Gainey Ranch
• July 13: Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa at The Wigwam, Litchfield Park
• July 27: Arizona Biltmore Spa, Phoenix
• August 10: Agave, The Arizona Spa at Westin Kierland Resort, Scottsdale
• August 24: Amara Spa at Amara Resort Hotel, Sedona

Tickets start at $110 and include an evening reception with wine and delicate tastings of the chefs’ picks, a fabulously chic beach bag filled with luxury spa and beauty products, a charity raffle and mini spa services. Each of our guests will also receive a “Spaaah” certificate valid toward one full spa treatment and use of the spa amenities on day of their choice within 30 days after the event (unless noted otherwise).

At the heart of the Summer Spaaah Series is the mission to bring spa destinations and local residents together while helping out a great cause. Since 2006, the summer spa events have been named the Phoenix New Times “Best Way to Get Pampered for a Good Cause” and received numerous awards from International Festivals and Events Association-endorsed APS AzTEC Awards including 2007 Event of the Year (for events under 20K participants).
