Play Your Best Hand at a Casino Resort Spa

05/13/2022 by Alisha Parker

casino resort spa

Score a mix of relaxation and entertainment at these three casino resort spa destinations.

There’s nothing like a relaxing day at the spa, complete with hair, nails and facial treatments galore. Obviously, many Americans agree as there are a whopping 21,560 spa locations across the nation as of 2020, according to Statista. You can find a spa in nearly every major city, our favorites of course are right here in our own backyard. But when it’s road trip time, you can some of the most luxurious spas in a casino resort.

Yes, you read that right! Casino resort spas aim to keep clients relaxed, perhaps because casino resort guests need to chill out after a stressful day at the tables. Also, we know that casinos often feature elements that keep customers on-site, with things such as lodging, restaurants, and of course, spa services.

With that in mind, we’ve picked a winning three-of-a-kind just for you. You’ll find casino spas across the nation and even Talking Stick Resort here in Arizona, but these three high-scoring retreats are just a road trip away in Las Vegas.

Red Rock

If you’re looking for just a mani and pedi or you’d like a full body treatment that gives you hours of relaxation, the Red Rock Spa has it all. That might sound a bit overwhelming, especially if it’s your first time at a spa. But worry not: The Red Rock Spa is special in that if you’re not sure what services to go with, you can go with their BABOR service, which includes a skin analysis to determine exactly what you need. Forbes Travel Guide mentions that they have a wide variety of services including a salon for cuts, color, and barber services, and the spa even offers nutritional guidance.

The casino is where you can spend the rest of your evening after a long day at the spa. It has 20 poker tables with Limit and No Limit Hold’em for everyone, from beginners and casual players to absolute professionals. There are also more than 3,000 slot machines if you want something a little more relaxing. The bingo hall also offers a nice, slow-paced experience with eight one-hour sessions every day, and more than 600 seats so you’ll always have someone to mingle with.

The Bellagio

The Bellagio Spa offers a selection of heavenly facials (like the opulence oxygen facial), body wraps, manicures, and pedicures, among other services. It’s the perfect place to indulge in a Citrus Delight renewal massage and wash away the stress of Las Vegas with a sugar scrub. Apart from the Bellagio spa itself, they’re also now working with Kalologie Medspa, which offers other, more advanced services such as B12 injections, microneedling, and dermal fillers.

The Bellagio is world-famous for its casino games, boasting 156,000 square feet of gaming space and 2,300 different slot machines. It also has one of the best poker rooms in Las Vegas, offering you the chance to go all-in on the tables after your luxury spa. The Legends Room attracts many celebrities and poker professionals, so you might need a spa to unwind after a session of checking, raising, and folding. If you’ve had enough of bluffing for the day, the resort also has an art gallery and the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens that take pride in seasonal exhibits all year long.

South Point

South Point’s Costa del Sur Spa and Salon boasts more than 40,000 square feet dedicated to spa treatments. It also has 27 individual treatment rooms and four couples suites, if you decide to go with a special someone. One of their more popular treatment is the “Pure Fiji Goddess of the Sun Ritual”. Once you’re done being spoiled, you can head over to the casino where about a thousand other activities await.

Apart from South Point’s 30-table poker room and a bingo hall with Cashball Jackpots, the casino also offers a racebook area with 150 seats where you can bet on your favorite horse at the races. If you prefer sports, there’s also a sportsbook with two gigantic televisions and multiple smaller plasma televisions, so you can choose to watch (and bet on) your favorite sport.

Sometimes we just need to relax, and a trip to a casino resort spa offers the winning hand. A full day of spa treatments (hello, full seaweed body wrap and rejuvenating sugar scrub!) to a pleasant evening of games, mingling, and maybe a cocktail or two can be just the pick-me-up we need during a vacation.
