Mulling spices tend to be one of those items we pick up once a year and that end up at the back of our cupboards after the holiday season leaves town. Our cure for that? Make a foot soak of course! Mulling spices are an aromatic blend of cinnamon chips, dried orange peels, cloves, allspice berries and natural oils. The cinnamon bark has anti-inflammatory properties while the orange essence soothes and conditions skin. Soak your tootsies in this concoction after a long day of bargain shopping.
Here’s what you need:
- 2 tablespoons mulling spices
- Handful of orange peel strips
Here’s what you do:
Simmer the mulling spices up to 30 minutes and pour into foot bowl. Add orange peels and add enough warm water to cover feet. Think warm thoughts while you soak and follow up with a hydrating lotion.
